Finally home.
Suffice to say my win at Binion's kicked off a two day bender, and not much poker was played after that. Dropped 4 bills quickly at MGM and then gave up, except for a little 4/8 at Venetian before saying goodbye to Pam and Neema.
Final hand: I'm UTG and so of course straddle, because why the heck wouldn't you want to throw good money after bad before seeing your cards? The dealer gave me crap about it: "If you want to throw money away, go ahead." You bet I do!
Practically everybody calls as this incredibly weak/passive table, and of course I have to 3-bet it with 67o. That's a monster for this situation! Bring on the flop!
652 rainbow, top pair, oh yeah. I bet out and get a bunch of callers. Turn 2, putting up two clubs, I bet, a couple of folds, someone raises (pushing out a few others, thankfully), I call.
River 5 for final board of 65225, four-suited. I check/call, the other guy sheepishly shows T8cc, I take that bad boy down! My shock at this caused me to yelp and pound the table, a completely asshole move I hope to remove from my repertoire. I then racked up and left. Hit and run, bitches! I'm a genius at poker!
The trip was an incredible success on many fronts. I accomplished all that I set out to do and then some. It was great having so many of you out here throughout the week, really helped stave off any homesickness.
Time for a day of mild rest, and then off to High Sierra... I hope others on this trip feel like sharing some of their thoughts, as well.
We'll get that bracelet next year!

Congrats on a great trip, and welcome home. See you on the other side of the Sierras (temporally, not physically).
